It's Official: Conservatives Extradite Marc Emery

Jeremiah Vandermeer and Jacob Hunter at Cannabis Culture - Marc Emery, the Prince of Pot, turned himself in to Canadian kidnappers in Vancouver today. He expects to be shipped to the US, where a US judge is expected to sentence him to five years in prison, for selling seeds. Collected news stories and videos at the link.

By no right. Governments don't have rights. They have powers, supposedly limited powers, granted by a constitution, in the US, but we all know how well that's worked. The real reason governments have the powers they do is that they've brain-washed a large group of thugs to kidnap or kill people if they don't obey their statutes. And things have to get quite bad before most people will do what they should do the first time those thugs lay a hand on them: shoot the bastards.
