Wow, unable to change your perspective based on a LOAD of data re: Obama...sounds like a typical close-minded, ignorant, and sophomoric from the Left. I'm shocked...SHOCKED, I tell you.

I can't speak for Joel, but I think you'll find that his opinion is more complicated than you're giving him credit for. I'll agree that Obama is a worse tyrant than Bush, but I still don't miss Bush. There hasn't been a president in my lifetime that I've missed, and Eisenhower was president when I was born. And to anticipiate your question, no, I don't miss Reagan either. Tyrants all.

The president must be a "take-charge" person. The problem is exacerbated when congress doesn't rein him/her in (aka one party is in control). I regret that we were unable to elect a better replacement for Bush.

When this showed up at work, at least a dozen people said they did. Some of them said it in the context, of "I never thought I would, but now..." but they all agreed.

The polls also show an overwhelming number of Americans agree and wish they could have him back.

Yes I do miss George Bush. He was one of our best Presidents.
He is wise, strong & quiet. The Country is much better off, because
he was President.

Yep, I'd bet there are lots of people wishing now they had voted Republican. Obummer is running this country into the ground, ala Europe.

I miss him. I voted for him twice and if I could have voted for him a third time, I would. It's unfornatuate that George W was given a raw deal by the media and all those who suffer from the Bush Derangement Syndrome. He was an excellent president, and people were blinded by their irrational hatred for the guy.

Yes, I miss him. Every day. I can't believe what's happening to my country under the Obama dictatorship. It's a travesty.

your comments are irrational.....how any one can miss him (bush) after the mess he got us in is inexplicable....people throwing around pronouncements of dictator (obama) are in themselves irrational, unthinking....agree with the poster who says he doesn't miss any of the presidents, any of them....this country is in serious trouble and all the finger pointing, name calling, no-answers to problems pundits are leading us to doom....obama was elected, bush was elected, clinton was elected as was the congress, live with it until the next election and maybe pull out a history book...

ARE YOU KIDDING,,, YES!!! I WOULD TAKE ANY PRESIDENT WE HAVE HAD SINCE AFTER JIMMY CARTER THE PEANUT MAN WAS BOOTED OUT... HE IS THE ONLY ONE IN RECENT HISTORY THAT HAS HAD SUCH A DISMAL PRESIDENCY!!!!!!!!!!

I have never in my entire life despised a US president until now and I was present for Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter. I have had really strong dislike for the policies and action of a few but I have never literally hated a president until now. He isn't even a US born citizen and proves this on a daily basis by refusing to release his birth records. If any of you can't see he is an enemy of our country/culture you are blind. Yes I miss George Bush, I didn't always agree with everything he did or even didn't do but I always knew he had our best interest at heart and that is more than you can say for Obama!

I will never miss George Bush. Either of them. I miss Bill though. He had the country on the right track, definitely. I remember people calling me offering me jobs nearly constantly. I remember when companies groveled to people to come work for them, and they paid well. I remember when America's economy was moving right along and we were unstoppable by any outside force. Then Bush got "elected" by his brother and the supreme court, and he hastily decided all our money should go to defense contractors, insurance moguls, and oil companies. Bush destroyed the country from within, and the terrorists won thanks to him. He politicized 9/11 as well.

Bush was the single worst president in the last 50 years.

I absolutely detested the way Bush acted when he was President, his his pseudo-folksy mannerisms, his lack of knowledge on the issues and generally acting like a monkey most the time but with all of that, he was 1000 times a safer President than Obama is. Obams detests America and is showing it through his gradually (not that gradually really) taking us down the path to all out Socialism.

You who say, "Bush and Regan were tyrants", surely have no real world knowledge of real tyrants like the ones they had the courage to stand against. How sad for you. You are the same people who thought child prisons, mass rape(of women and children), and several hundreds of thousand people mass murdered in Iraq was better then the U.S. being involved. How amazing that I am sure you are the same people who call yourselves humanitarians, but lack the courage to truly stand for those so called beliefs beyond simple slanderous words against those who did not lack that courage. Honor, integrity, selflessness, and true humanity, these have no deep meaning to you because you truly are a shallow reflection of the professors who taught you. You think you are rebels but have become the sheep you proclaim everyone else is.
