National Ammo Day, 2005

# I fired yesterday some of my new H4227-powered .44 magnum ammo, with Hornady 240 grain XTP and 265 Grain Interlock bullets. Worked great. I'll use up my H110 eventually, but from now on it's H4227 for pistol-caliber reloads. At least until I get a new powder measure with tight enough tolerances so that H110 doesn't slip through the mechanism.

# Remember, today is National Ammo Day. If you haven't yet made your purchase, there's still time to get at least 100 rounds of ammo or reloading components, today or tomorrow. Or join the AR15.com Walmart Ammo Buy. Go to a local Walmart at 4:30 eastern time today and buy up all of a caliber of Winchester White Box.

# Simon McGee Gun loophole is closed by mother's campaign - Britain has regulated reloading presses and primers, making them subject the same legal restrictions as loaded ammo. Sheesh. Maybe they should just get it over with, ban hands, and start cutting them off. Or ban brains, which the most dangerous and effective weapon available to a person. [claire]
