Manhattan Express Roller Coaster

# Rode last night on the Manhattan Express Roller Coaster at New York-New York. Whoohoooo!!! Just my speed. I floated down the stairs afterwards with my wings outstretched. It had a nice vertical loop and a one-and-a-half horizontal loop (spinning on your side), plus a neat spin to upside-down, hanging on the knee bar and pressing against the shoulder bar. Started with a long tow up a steep hill, then two minutes of white-knuckle fun. Took the monorail to the MGM Grand, walked through and crossed the street on the overpass to New York-New York. There were a couple of kids in front of us with day passes strapped to their wrists. They had been riding the coaster over and over again. Smart kids.

# Justin Buist - Serenity Review - Mr. Buist attended yesterday a "blogger preview" of the Firefly Serenity movie. He liked it. Hey, Mikey! I'm planning to go to a Saturday or Sunday matinee.

# Justin Buist - Serenity Review Review - the Serenity preview for bloggers wasn't for bloggers exclusively. And it would have been easy to video or photograph the show, had Mr. Buist been so-inclined.

# Dale Lowdermilk at Armed Females of America - The Piñata Syndrome - satire, with a point. Mr. Lowdermilk shows that piñatas, not guns, are responsible for America's violence. Then he gets serious and reminds us that gun control = genocide. [steven]
