Note that his target was a U.S. government entity, NOT a commercial venue patronized willingly by innocent mundanes. In other words, Joe Stack, the closest thing to a "terrorist" (at least as defined by the Regime) that this country has seen in the last decade, targeted an agency of the Regime that was responsible for the bulk of his suffering.

Most amazing is that fact that not only has there to date been only ONE Joe Stack, not the hundreds, or even thousands that we would have expected as the Amerikanischer Sicherheitstaat grows and metastasizes, but that there has been no credible evidence of any incipient attacks by individuals or organizations originating from the far-flung corners of the Empire populated by Muslims under our oppressive boot heel. But they don't need to launch anymore acts of violence on our soil. Having terrified us into a panic nine years ago, they are doing the smart thing, which is letting us turn on ourselves in a destructive frenzy of totalitarian violence and orgiastic spending on military conquest that will soon bankrupt us, cause national collapse, and turn us into an anarcho-nihilistic jungle of a society.

In other words, the Regime damned well knows that the odds of any "terrorist" striking anywhere in the UFSA is absolutely NIL. You are right. The same thing has oc...Liberranter,

You are right. The same thing has occurred to me. The last time I flew out of Dulles Airport outside DC, a couple of years ago on a Friday afternoon, there were about 1,000 people - I swear not an exaggeration - waiting in line for security. The wait was about 30 minutes. The line went up the length of the concourse, then back, then up, then back, then up again.

I thought to myself, what is to prevent someone wheeling a suitcase with 50 lbs of C-4 right in the door, past the check-ins, right into the middle of this mass of 1,000 people, and setting it off? The death toll would be at least a couple of hundred, maybe several hundred, and the injuries would be horrific. There are several airports like it, where the TSA has people huddled in great masses, hundreds of them, waiting to go through the cattle dip. Sitting ducks.

But no, this kind of thing never occurs to these mouth-breathing cretins, whose belt size is bigger than their IQ.

RE. the "Legendary" Israeli security mentioned above: A few years ago some crazy Turk at LAX walked up to the check-in line at ElAl and opened fire, only to be instantly shot dead by undercover Israeli agents in the crowd. I thought to myself then, brother, if he had had a suitcase of Semtex, walked to the check-in line and set it off without announcing himself, he would have killed at least 50 people. But he wasn't a terrorist, just a crazy guy with no access to that kind of material.

We are SO lucky that the terrorists (if they really even exist,) are as dumb and lacking in imagination as the TSA.

- Lemuel Gulliver.

PS: Actually, an Israeli told me how they do their security. A friendly security person will ask pleasantly, "So where are you going in Israel? Have you ever been before? What did you like on that visit? Do you have friends there? Are you going to stay with them? Did you stay with them last time? What's their address? Oh yes, did you ever go out for coffee at the Starbucks at the end of that street? What was their name again? Oh yes, that apartment number must be on the second floor, right? What was the number again? Those are nice shoes. They look new? Did you buy them here in New York? What brand are they? I'd like to buy a pair of those myself. What store did you buy them in? Is that here in New York? What street is it on? Oh, Seventh Avenue. I'm new here. Is that avenue east of Fifth Avenue, or west? How do you spell the name of the store again?"

And so on, and so on. If you are legitimate, your answers will be right. If not, you will slip up, or not know something you should know, or contradict yourself, and they will continue the conversation until the time comes for them to take you aside, by which time there will be about four of them watching your every move, since the interview has gone on longer than it should. The deal has been signed in the back room, and we need to face the fact that these machines are here to stay.

The chink in their armor, so far, is that most of these porno-ray machines are placed within very easy reach of passengers who have not yet been screened. What is to stop an angry passenger from carrying a large hammer or some other blunt object (or even an actual weapon) up to the checkpoint and start swinging away at any piece of invasive technology within reach? Or, better yet, SEVERAL passengers wielding similar objects at the same time? Many of US vs. Few of THEM = no contest.

Yes, nothing would please them more. Then the next person who complains can be shot dead because the TSA mouth-breather "feared for his safety." (So much for Airline Passenger Safety.) THAT will shut the "Opt-Outers" up for good.

Again, I ask the a variation of my previous question: What exactly about the current layout of airport terminals prevents passengers from carrying firearms or other blunt-objects-come-weapons up to the security checkpoints in order to "respond in kind" to the scenario described here? (You'll probably also note that this is a variation of the already oft-asked question that the fear mongers refuse to even acknowledge, let alone answer, namely: why would a "terrorist" need to get anywhere near an plane to wreak death and destruction when he has all the soft targets he could ever ask for inside the airport terminal area?) The answer is nothing, at least in every airport through which I've ever traveled. There would be NOTHING to prevent someone from standing to one side of the cattleherd line to lay in wait for one of these thugtards to make the proverbial "straw that breaks the camel's back" move that would prompt a tit-for-tat exchange, one that would not end well for at least some of the uniformed pervs.

Now of course the equation I just described would change completely if the fedthugs decided to extend their "security" [sic] perimeter beyond the airport terminal boarding areas to the check-in areas, or even out to the airport entrances off of the main highways. However, I see this as unlikely, at least in the foreseeable future, due to both the human and vehicular traffic backups that this would cause, for I can think of NO airport sufficiently removed from a major transportation artery that this could be avoided. Such a thing would unavoidably inconvenience even the zookeepers themselves, which would defeat the purpose.liberranterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00555275410576294081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32869165.post-16180088304245131642010-11-18T13:14:17.865-07:002010-11-18T13:14:17.865-07:00"Are they trying to wipe out the airline indu..."Are they trying to wipe out the airline industry?"

No, they are hoping for generous campaign kickbacks form the manufacturer of the billions of dollars' worth of these machines that WILL be installed in every airport.
