Why the Happy Face Flag?

On Wednesday, 26 September, 2001, I put the US Peace Flag in my blog template. On 11 October, I changed it to the happy face flag you see to the left (thanx to Lester Drinnon for the artwork). I want to counter the war fever that has taken over much of the country. Though I still believe that the individuals responsible for Bloody Tuesday should be hunted down and killed, I do not believe that this can be accomplished by bombers and soldiers. It must be a small operation, preferably carried out by bounty hunters. Government need not apply. Though there is no excuse for these attacks on innocent civilians, I believe that the primary cause is United States hegemony. The U.S. government should grant letters of marque and reprisal to authorize a bounty for the hunting down of the responsible individuals and should pull all U.S. forces out of all foreign countries and keep them out, forever. The purpose of the United States military is to defend the United States from attack. Period. During peace time, the standing army should be disbanded and the country should be defended by its local militias, that's you and me, armed to the teeth. Works good for Switzerland. Will work here, too.
