....you've got to watch/listen to this. What a motivator from across the ocean and what a beautiful video. I don't think it has been posted as it just came up 18 minutes ago, but 500 people have watched it.

Thanks to YouTube, you can send any Ron Paul video to your entire address book list, with a nice little holiday frame - free !
Just find your favorite RP video, click on the "Send this as a Holiday Video Card !" button, pick a theme (6 to choose from), click next, add your name, a message and the addresses. Very easy to do. You'll wish your pals a cheery holiday and of course send them something cool to watch also. Is this great or what?
I like the New Hampshire PBS piece:

But there are hundreds more - find the one you like best !

Univision Debate - Sunday, December 9, 2007.
I had a hard time finding any information on this. Univision is a Spanish-language TV channel. The Republican Debate will be broadcast on Univision from Miami, FL. I think it is 7pm ET, but check your local listings be sure (and to see if you get Univision).
More info here - but it is all in Spanish, as far as I can tell:

John Stossel, of ABC, conducted an hour-long interview with Ron Paul, in response to a barrage of email requests. He did the interview but, so far, it has only been posted on the internet. Jane Aitken's Blog (below) has some clips.

This should explain to social conservatives what Ron Paul believes in personally as well as what he believes is or isn't government's role in the issues of drugs, gay marriage, prostitution, etc.

Howard Fineman called me about a month ago. I've spoken to him before about other candidates. He didn't ask me much, he seemed to be just sort of 'checking in' I guess, to be sure there were real people in NH supporting Ron Paul.
In this video, he brings up the old question of whether Ron is advocating that people break the law. Of course Ron says he does not, but that people who try to challenge bad laws have to know what they are getting into and that they will suffer the consequences.

We have become Rome. And like Rome, those who are under our influence appreciate our wealth and power while despising our presence on their soil. Our founding fathers understood this all too well as part of the British Empire. Empires must protect their interests and have always done so at the expense of those outside the circles of the elite. In our own case, soldiers of King George, ostensibly on the continent to “keep the peace,” were forcibly housed by the local populace against their will. After our independence the wisdom of the forefathers prevailed and this particular thorn was addressed as the third amendment to our Constitution.
But we have forgotten human nature as we have become “global.” When in Iraq, I sensed a genuine appreciation from Iraqis that we had rid them of vile Saddam. However, some of our practices could not help but inspire resentment against us. Soldiers of all nations will take measures to keep from being killed, but could anyone imagine what Americans would think if foreign military vehicles patrolled our streets to “keep the peace” while signs on the rear of each vehicle warned “Stay back 100 meters or you will be shot?” I vividly recall the faces of two Iraqis in a pickup truck who took a wrong turn and came head to head with our humvee – their hands shot into the air while only the professionalism of our gunner kept his finger off the trigger of the M249 machinegun aimed at their chests. I have come to wonder, were our forefathers enamored by the crown’s attempt to “keep the peace” after looking down the wrong end of a Brown Bess musket?

Do you believe in free money?
I certainly don’t, but there are millions of Americans who do.
Now, I’m not an economist, but I do know you can’t conjure up money out of thin air. Unfortunately, the federal government feels differently. For years now when the money supply gets tight they just print some more.
So what has me writing about this subject that I admittedly am not an expert on? An experience in dealing with my local government, that’s what.

The new MSNBC/Newsweek poll on Iowa puts Ron Paul at 8% of likely GOP caucus-goers, 2 points above McCain.
But both MSNBC and Newsweek, who commissioned the poll, have omitted Ron Paul from the analyses.
Newsweek's article on the poll analyzes it with regard to the top candidates, including McCain, but omits any mention of Ron Paul, who beats McCain in their own numbers.

I used to read stuff from Chomsky a few years back. I gather he fancies himself a type of libertarian, but he seems more socialist-leaning to me. I've been told that he has hidden agendas, so I'm unsure of what to make of him.
What do you think about his arguments? I don't agree with them.

I thought it was time for DailyPaul to have some exclusive pictures that were just taken of my grandparents, my family, and Ron and his first great-grandson (my son Collin.)
Again, I want to thank Michael for creating this site because it has been a home base for all of us in getting the latest, greatest Ron Paul information. (Click read more to see more pictures)

I have booked a full-page B&W ad for the January 20th, perfect-bound edition of SHOTGUN NEWS Magazine. SHOTGUN NEWS is one of the most widely read gun publications in the nation. This particular issue will also be distributed by the thousands at the annual SHOT SHOW (The Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show and Conference). Gun-Owners are a huge demographic that can completely change the outcome of an election.

The clock is ticking down. We have until midnight Friday, December 7th to collect the first $200,000 needed to launch the Ron Paul Blimp tour. As of now we are at about $135,000. The publicity that the blimp will generate will be priceless.
As you know, many of the initial pledges received were bogus attempts to sabotage the success of this effort. It would be a shame if those who set out to do damage to the effort were to win. Let's not let that happen!

[Editor's note: Josh sent me this email, and gave me permission to post it]
I heard about the Iowa straw poll and how RP wasn't even on the ballot. Then there was the Texas straw poll where anyone wearing RP gear or showing support for him was not allowed in the building. Now they are canceling straw polls so that RP cannot win like the one in SF. I really think it is time for us to dress up as Indians... so to speak... referring to the Boston Tea Party. I agree there are dark forces against us. I truly believe that anyone wearing any RP gear will be labeled when it comes to selecting delegates. In other words they find a way not to select them. So I think it is our turn to play their game. I think we should try it for the next straw poll where ever that may be.
Maybe dress in nothing RP related, stay neutral, and show no support to RP but vote for him. The SF thing scared me. This is going to continue to happen unless we do something. I think we should show our lack of support when it is time to vote. I mean we all still vote for him but don't come out and say it. Maybe even go as far as wearing a McCain shirt or something. We need to be the wolves in sheep's clothing now.
It is our turn my friend. Please let me know what you think. I want an opinion before my meetup meeting.
Thanks... Josh Tuttle
