Postscript

More than two years after September 11th 2001 there has still not been any official investigation which provides answers to the many unanswered questions concerning the attacks on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon (in contrast to the case of the Columbia space shuttle disaster, where three official investigations were initiated within days and within months we knew what actually happened and who was responsible). The President and Vice-President of the United States are known to have actively discouraged any such investigation, strongly indicating that they have something to hide, as surely they do, namely, their complicity in the attacks of September 11th.

During ten months of probing by a joint House-Senate investigation headed by former prosecutor and Pentagon inspector general Eleanor Hill, staff members reviewed classified documents made available by U.S. intelligence and law enforcement agencies. They also interviewed field agents, spooks, and senior government officials. The Senate and House intelligence committees approved the report, but the White House insisted that it be "scrubbed" before being released — that is, cleansed of any hint that the attack might have been prevented. — "The Final Secret of 9/11"  [APFN link expired]

Instead of an open inquiry into what happened, and how the U.S. Air Force (with jet fighters ready to scramble just ten minutes from Washington) failed to prevent three allegedly hijacked commercial jetliners from crashing into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon, there is a growing chorus of protest that we have been fed blatant lies by the Bush administration assisted by the mainstream media. The so-called 9/11 Independent Commission is a fraud which will conceal the truth, not reveal it (see Ex-Senator Bob Kerrey appointed to 9/11 panel and 9/11 could have been prevented, 9/11 chair admits). The major outlines of the truth can already be known by anyone whose mind is not closed and who wishes to know. Eventually it will be generally recognized and acknowledged, and those responsible will be revealed. George W. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, Ashcroft, Myers, Eberhardt, Powell, Perle, Wolfowitz, Feith and the others know it, which is one reason why they launched their war on Iraq before the citizens of the U.S. (at least, those few who care about what America has traditionally stood for) could bring these traitors to justice for their crimes and thereby help to defeat the attempt to transform the U.S., and the rest of the world, into a police state and the Earth into a prison planet.

In March and April 2004 a series of high-level Bush administration figures appeared before the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States, a.k.a. the September 11th Commission, chaired by Thomas Kean. These figures included Richard Clarke, Condoleezza Rice, George Tenet and John Ashcroft. There was a lot of blame cast around regarding "intelligence failures" prior to September 11th. Richard Clarke even "apologized" to the families of those who were killed on September 11th for having "failed" them. Much attention was given to the Presidential Daily Briefing of August 6th, entitled "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in the United States". This was all stage-managed by the propaganda experts in the White House. All of this hand-wringing and blame was designed to reinforce the official story: that nineteen Arabs, Al-Qaeda operatives, hijacked four commercial airliners and crashed three of them into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. The greater the controversy and the more spectacular the accusations the better for the Bush administration, since this theatre was designed to distract attention from the questions which should have been asked of those appearing before the Commission, such as: Why was there no video evidence of any Arabs boarding the UA and AA flights? Why did the U.S. Air Force not follow standard operating procedure and scramble interceptor jets within fifteen minutes of the commercial planes going off-course? Why did both of the Twin Towers collapse in the manner of a controlled demolition? Why was there no evidence found at the Pentagon of the impact of a Boeing 757? What were the results of the SEC's investigation into highly unusual trading in United Airlines and American Airlines stock in the days just before 9/11? Why was the steel from the collapsed Twin Towers immediately shipped off to India and China with almost no forensic examination? What actually happened on September 11th? None of these questions have been asked by the Kean Commission. Its purpose is not to get at the truth but to suppress it. The tactics it employs are completely transparent. It is because of the deception perpetrated upon the American public by the mainstream media that this is not entirely obvious to anyone with the slightest capacity to think. Treason and mass murder has been committed by officials at the highest level of the United States government, and everyone in that government and in the mainstream media is busy covering it up.
